Our CTO Selected for the UN Quantum 100

We are incredibly proud to share that our Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer, Dr Yung Szen Yap, has been selected as one of the Quantum 100 — a prestigious global cohort assembled by the United Nations' International Year of Quantum Science and Technology (IYQ).

The Quantum 100 is a global initiative marking the 100th anniversary of quantum mechanics, curated by the IYQ to raise awareness of quantum science and celebrate the individuals driving its future. Being chosen from a highly competitive pool of over 400 worldwide nominations is a remarkable achievement — and a reflection of the depth of expertise and passion Dr Yap brings to AQSolotl every day.

Dr Yap is a senior microwave and RF specialist with a PhD in Science, and serves as our lead expert in hardware development — delivering the powerful, scalable quantum control solutions at the heart of our flagship product, CHRONOS-Q. His work has been instrumental in positioning AQSolotl at the forefront of practical quantum computing in Singapore and beyond.

This recognition is not just a personal milestone for Dr Yap — it is a validation of the entire AQSolotl team's mission to make quantum computing accessible, practical, and impactful for businesses worldwide.
